The production process of medicinal glass bottles includes steps such as raw material preparation, melting, molding, annealing, inspection, packaging and storage:
Raw material preparation: The main raw material is silicon dioxide (SiO₂), usually quartz sand is used as the main component, and some auxiliary raw materials such as soda ash (Na₂CO₃), limestone (CaCO₃), etc. are added.
Melting: Mix the raw materials and put them into the furnace to melt, and the temperature is usually above 1500℃.
Molding: The molten glass liquid is molded into the desired shape by blowing or pressing.
Annealing: The molded glass bottle needs to be annealed to eliminate internal stress and improve strength and stability.
Inspection: The glass bottle is inspected for appearance, size measurement, physical property test and chemical property test.
Packaging and storage: Glass bottles that have passed the inspection are packaged and stored, and the storage environment needs to be kept dry, ventilated and clean.
